Crown Z offers a unique opportunity to use a cross between two Olympic representative parents. His sire, Carthago Z, jumped in the Olympics and is one of the best sons of Capitol, in terms of breeding. Ratina Z is the "showjumping horse of the century". This wonderful mare won the World Cup finals, the European Championship, the Aachen Grand Prix, Olympic silver, twice Olympic team gold, twice European team gold and team gold at the World Equestrian Championships.

Ratina Z also passes on her qualities which is confirmed by her first son Rex Z (Rebel I Z). In total the already deceased Rex Z produced no more than 106 offspring of which presently no less than ten are performing at Grand Prix level in showjumping. This is an uncommonly high percentage of almost 10 % . Showjumping qualities are powerfully present in this Holstein family. Foundation dam Heureka Z was herself winner of the Aachcn Grand Prix under Hermann Schridde.
